2022 Disability Pride Month Trainings
Our July Disability Pride Month training series explored disability history, how to embrace our identities and learning strategies on how to advocate for our rights and policy priorities.

About the Disability Pride Flag:
-
Black background = rebellion and mourning for those who have suffered and died from ableist violence
-
Zigzags/lightning bolts = how we must creatively move around and past barriers;
-
Parallel stripes = solidarity within our community
-
Colors = the variety of disabilities and experiences.
Designed by Ann Magill a person with a disability, in 2019.
